yellowjackets 3x10 spoilers ahead.

i actually think there were two separate teams conspiring in the finale. i don’t think mari, akilah, gen, and melissa were working with van, nat, and misty. not because they didn’t want to, but because neither group knew what the other was up to.

mari, akilah, gen, and melissa seemed like they wanted the hunt to happen so they could use it as a cover to kill shauna and lottie. they’re the only two really keeping them stuck out there. mari told shauna, “you deserve everything that’s coming for you,” and then melissa straight-up tackled her and almost killed her like it was planed. akilah literally went after lottie with a brick. the hunt was an opportunity to get rid of the people standing between them and rescue. meanwhile, van, nat, and misty were working on their own plan, one that just happened to benefit from the chaos of the hunt. they didn’t want the hunt either, but it gave nat cover to escape and call for help.

honestly, if either group had known what the other was doing, the hunt probably wouldn’t have been necessary at all. they could’ve just teamed up and jumped shauna and lottie directly.

I need ALL the JV girls to lose it. Since the mf PILOT Mari has been the one actively imcluding/protecting the JV girls. Mari befriends Akilah before the crash even happens, and in the first two seasons is constantly by her side. She's the one we always see talking to the JV girls. She was the link between both groups at the beginning. She was always there in the background talking to one, or comforting one when times got rough. I require Akilah losing it and the other JVs jumping at this chance. I need them all angry because that was their older sister. I need them to hurt Shauna like she hurt them by taking away the original link to the seniors and the person who loved them the most out there.

i want akilah to be so Furious i want her to beat shauna with her own hands. what do you mean jackie got to be treated as a human in death and shauna got to grieve and then mari is immediately turned to an object a sacrifice a Thing. what do you mean jackie kept her coat and mari’s hair was cut off.

“how could melissa do that to van!!??!” idk probably because van was totally chill about shauna breaking into her house and van tied her up and then saved everyone in the house and came back in just to stand over melissa with a knife and talk about how she wanted to kill her but couldn’t. like idk if i was melissa id probably do the same thing. what was she gonna do? sit there and wait for van to get a grip and kill her? stay in the house and wait for shauna to kill her? leave van alive and try to run away, probably resulting in van killing her as she fled? van is my favorite character and i’m devastated that she’s dead but… what did you expect melissa to do in that situation? lay down and die?

Shauna: became the butcher because she’s more butch than all the other butches 

Jackie: was gonna climb that girl like a tree in seattle 

Nat: sees someone with soulful deep brown eyes and keels over, does not matter the gender

Lottie: soulful deep brown eyed lesbian jesus

Laura Lee: homoerotically baptized lesbian jesus

Misty: became an alcoholic to honor her dead situationship

Van: calls sex bow chicka wow wow

Tai: eats dirt like she wants to eat pussy

Travis: had the sophie thatcher right in front of him and couldn’t get it up 

Mari: mindlessly follows whatever woman is in charge atm like she’ll die without a dominant woman around at all times

since im seeing some confusion RE: why melissa killed van

shauna said it to melissa herself; the only way to survive is to be the last one standing. all the other yj know melissa is alive now, they know what she's done, and they can use that information against her. the only way to protect herself is to be the last one standing, starting with van. she'll be coming after the rest of them soon enough im sure.

Well I might actually not be so annoyed about 8th survivor being Melissa she kinda slays....

Also long awaited Lottienat interaction, Nat in the plane and Jeff maybe reconsidering life decisions... even though I'm Shauna hater for life his loyalty deserves respect, but oh man you deserve so much better in this life please take Callie and RUN

And of course Jackie, honorable mention to THEE QUEEN oh I'm sobbing every time she's on screen

This does not belong to me. I found it in a google search. It reminded me of another reason why I love this show, the music. Also that Nat and Van were killed to Radiohead. Lottie was a missed opportunity. So, I thought, which Radiohead song would have been background when Lottie was being killed? I didn’t take this decision lightly. I would have chosen:
