only timmy is highlighted since he's the focus; of course, peri is their child as well. i don't believe they'd love either one more or over the other
it's my headcanon that wanda thought of timmy first when hearing those words, just as one would automatically think of their children in a certain order. in this case, oldest to youngest. when she says "we don't know," she's talking about both of them
it's clear cosmo and wanda cherished all of their godchildren, but i'm biased to think timmy was the first one that actually felt like theirs. he's practically their "firstborn," with how peri was raised alongside him since birth until they could no longer be together
not to mention how timmy was the reason peri was born in the first place
deep down, they all know their family can never be truly complete without him
ngl i 100% thought peri would be an antagonist
he's the first fairy in thousands of years, born directly under the lineage of what has to be the most powerful fairy family line in current existence
(cosmo is a von strangle, and also the very reason fairies stopped having babies in the first place. he's incredibly powerful and nobody talks about it for some reason. it's clear peri inherited that destructive potential)
the second he was born, entire fairy species (including his own kin) were out to get him to use his volatile magic for their own selfish goals. he's nearly kidnapped thrice, and almost ends the universe on the same day
the threats keep coming, and he's being dragged to countless adventures that put him at risk. he literally ceases to exist more than once
anyway, i wouldn't be surprised if some form of expectations were placed upon him growing up. maybe not by his family, but he's famous (a teacher described him as such once); in fairy world, he's automatically adored and celebrated by adults and peers alike, which foop antagonizes (and tries to kill) him for
cosmo and wanda would, realistically, of course try to shield him from all this, but no matter what they do, he's inevitably isolated
people either want to use him, put him on a pedestal, or is a universally infamous human godchild who will forget all about him in a matter of years
(cosmo and wanda becoming godparents and learning (choosing) to eventually let go of their kids is one thing, but it can be assumed poof was still a young, underdeveloped child by the time timmy (+chloe, for what it's worth) got his memories wiped
and he sees that timmy's able to live his own happy life without him in it. he lost his brother just like that, and there's nothing he can do despite all his godly powers)
there's so, so many ways he could've gone wrong
thus, my initial thought was that peri was going to be a somewhat petty, "spoiled brat," and him becoming a godparent would be the result of spite or rebellion, which cosmo and wanda would feel entirely responsible for. I HATE MY PARENTS!! yada yada yada
it was a pleasant surprise to see all those clips of them loving each other. and it's not even because i doubted for a second that cosmo and wanda are bad parents, it's just what you usually expect when seeing shows from the 2000s, even if it doesn't make sense
all things considered, i'm very glad they went for the lighthearted silly family trope. not every show needs such conflicts, and showing healthy dynamics are better for kids overall
still, i find it interesting to think about if they'd gone down another route instead. i love me a pathetic cringy villain who tries (fails) to hate the people they love the most

コンビニで手に入れる事が出来る濃薄筆ペンは結構汎用性が高いのだけど、重ね塗りすると濃くなりすぎるので 練習が必要だな。

アートツールソフトをテスト使用したときに ネタとしてヴィッキーを描いたのですが、なんだかこのまま放っておくのが申し訳ない気がしたので 自分なりに書き直したものです。
なんで今更 ヴィッキーなの？ と思われる人もいるかもしれません。実はつい最近まで 私は “Oops! フェアリー ペアレンツ” を視聴した事が無かったのです。
今月から Windowsストアで USのコンテンツを日本側で決済できるようになったので、映画＆テレビ ストアから “Oh Yeah! Cartoons!” を3シーズン丸ごと購入した事が切っ掛けです。どの作品も面白かったのですが、その中でも ”The Fairly OddParents”は抜群の完成度を誇っていると感じました。それが 日本語版“Oops! フェアリー ペアレンツ”を観る切っ掛けになったのです。
ヴィッキーはヴィランです。それも相当 達が悪い部類に入ると思います。小さい子供が相手でもヴィッキーは容赦しません。親達に自分の行いがばれないよう、 常に策を講じています。しかし、ティミーは親に告げ口しません。彼女が家に来なくなれば 妖精達が ティミーの側に居る理由が無くなるからです。この共生関係はリアルすぎて 少し怖いくらいです。
色々と容赦ないヴィッキーのことを 何故か私は憎めないのです。むしろ、非常に魅力的なキャラクターに見えます。現在のように規制が厳しくなった今では登場させるだけでも難しいと思います。でも、彼女のことが気になります。彼女があれほど邪悪な理由が エピソードの何処かに描写されているはずです。
彼女の行動原理を詳しく知るには エピソード全てに目を通す必要が有ります。しかし、日本でそれを行うことは 現在において不可能です。

Okay, first things first, apologies for how janky the colored line art is; I don’t do it often but I felt this piece needed some spicing up! This was drawn on my poor neglected iPad (known around the house as “The MaxiPad”) using MediBang, once again not something I do often! The reason I chose to use my iPad is cause I’m going to be getting a display tablet within a few days, gettin’ real tired of the hand/eye disconnect with my Wacom >:\ Oh, and I’ve changed my mind: I like Procreate more than iPad MediBang. It’s a close call but I can just manipulate my layers better in Procreate; couldn’t figure out how to do so in MediBang and I’m pretty savvy with complex art programs!
Now, some words on each of these fellas!
Dipper and Mabel: These two darlings remind me of my brother and I who are super close! They’re insanely cute and help me when I need some innocence in my life. I see myself a lot in both of them, but most people like to compare me to Mabel (my mom’s even started doing it). :D Sweater designs aren’t all that original but hey, cliches are cliches for a reason!
Bill Cipher: A total jerk who’s way too much fun to draw. Sometimes we all need a little chaos!
Yung Venuz and Yung Cuz: My go-to unfunny meme duo. These guys are probably more like favorite characters than comfort characters, I think they’re so much fun and they remind me of long game nights of Nuclear Throne with my little bro!
Stan and Ford: I could actually ramble about how much I love these two forever so I should probably leave it at that tbh. Apologies for more uncreative sweater designs OTL
Cosmo and Wanda: King and queen of my childhood! These two give me warm fuzzy feelings every time I see them, they remind me of a simpler time. <3 I think that having a positive romantic relationship to latch onto has helped me in getting through the separation of my parents, as well. They’re just so cute!
Isaac and Azazel: Little crying children are very fun to draw. Okay, that came out wrong, but you get the point. I started playing the Binding of Isaac in 2015 and ever since then it’s been probably my #1 favorite game, period. These two are my favorites to play as and I doodle them a lot! My headcanons are likely more developed than most of my own characters, oops. REPENTANCE HYPE!!
Mario and Luigi: Okay, the actual kings of my childhood. I’ve recently latched on to the Mario series for one reason or another, I think part of it is nostalgia and part of it is the cheerful aesthetics. Super Mario Galaxy was the childhood favorite, and since then I’m proud to say that I’ve 200%’d it! It helps that their designs are super cute, as well; I totally wanna grab lunch with Mario, he seems like the nicest guy ever. Oh, blame @metrognome129 for Luigi’s sweater btw. If you get it, you get it. :)
Happy holidays to you all, I hope you’re having a swell quarantined Christmas! Hopefully next year we’ll get to run around like crazy again. :D I miss my American friends!

I saw a lot of people wondering why dev just doesn't wish for his dad to love him, and I feel like that's something that he could never get even from a rule-breaking anti-fairy,a genuine love and attention.
I mean, imagine if he did wish for it, it wouldn't make him that happy cuz he knows that's not coming from his dad but his own wish.
He could literally get whatever he wants yet he can't get the only thing he needs.
