KK blushes, you could still make her blush doing barely a thing, even after over two years of being together. The two of you eat, joking around with each other just enjoying the peace between the two of you. Finishing up her plate KK puts it in the sink “I’m going to the gym, after I’m coming to pick you and we’re going to your favorite lunch spot” she tells you walking up to you.

Confused you furrow your brows “Why? Not that I’m complaining, or anything but is something special happening today?” you ask her. She shrugs a sneaky smile playing on her lips “Maybe yes maybe no” she tells your planting a kiss on your lips. The kiss last for longer than expected your hands on her waist pulling her closer, her hands on your cheeks, it felt like a goodbye kiss but it wasn’t.

“I love you so much KK” you tell her after pulling away from the kiss, your noses touching. Neither of you wanted to pull away “I love you so much more you have no idea baby” she plants another short and sweet kiss on your lips before grabbing her phone and bag. Walking to the door she smiles at you once more before leaving, that KK smile that made you feel like everything was going to be okay.

Ending up at the jewelry store Kamora looks around at all the rings behind the glass. She knew exactly what you wanted, always listening to your every word. The shop keeper comes over “Is there anything you would like?” the old man asks her.

Pointing to the engagement ring she knew was perfect for you “That please” KK smiles at him, her heart beating through her chest. The shop keeper opens up the glass before grabbing it handing to the girl to look at. Immediately once the ring was in her hands she felt it was perfect.

She hands it back to the shop keeping before walking down to the register to pay for the ring. While she waits two men walk into the shop looking around, while KK paid them no mind, they did to her. The keeper comes back “Cash or card miss?” he asks her looking over at the two men for a moment.

KK hands him her card “It’s a beautiful ring, I’m sure your soon be fiancée will love it. It’s very rare and worth a lot not to mention its beauty” the shop keepers hands her the card back with the ring, in a beautiful black box. KK nods smiling “I hope she does thank you, have a good day” she says before walking out the door not noting the eyes of the two men behind her.

They follow her down to her car, KK too busy on her phone texting Paige about the ring, and how nervous she was to notice. One of the men grab her arm turning her around his hand in his pocket. The other tries to grab the ring “Yo get off me” KK says over and over trying to get of his grip. They ignore her “Just give us the ring and all your cash and we’ll let you go” the one holding her says his hand not leaving his pocket.

KK shakes her head no “Just let me go come on” she shakes in his grip, not noticing they have been dragging her to an alleyway. The dude groans trying to grab the ring but KK wouldn’t let go, with all her strength she held onto the ring for you.

Soon enough someone starts to notice the altercation in the alleyway and yells. One of the men groan “Fuck man she saw our faces what do we do?” he asks scared. The other one takes his hand out of his pocket, while the person screams again threatening to call 911, a gunshot goes off.

You sit with Paige, Azzi and Ice in the living room waiting for KK to come pick you up. While Paige smiles on her phone the whole time sneaking glances at you. You groan “Paige what’s going on? You’re being weirder than usual.” you ask her standing up and walking in front of her trying to grab the phone.

Paige stands up holding the phone above her head “Nuh uh, it’s a secret it’s not bad don’t you worry” she says raises her brows at you. You open your mouth to talk before your phone starts ringing. Pointing your finger at you you shake your head “This is not over” you squint your eyes at her before answering your phone a smile on your face.

“Hello? Who is this?” You ask looking at the random number the person on the other line asks “Is this Y/N Y/L?” they ask. You nod confused “Yes this is she” you state before hearing his next words, the smile drops from your face and you loose your grip from your phone, dropping it to the ground.

Azzi stands up grabbing your shoulder “What happened? What’s wrong?” she asks you all three of the girls standing up now.

Your hands shake as you breathe heavily “I don’t-“ your voice gets caught into your throat.

“I need the keys- KK- we gotta- she’s” you can’t finish any of your words your voice stuttering, hands shaking in the air. Azzi’s hands squeeze your shoulders “Breathe child” she says scared herself from your reaction.

“KK’s in the hospital” your voice cracks as you let out a sob grabbing the keys from your bag running out of the house with the three girls behind you. Ice grabs the keys from you and starts driving, all four of you terrified out of your minds, not knowing what is going on.

Paige looks back at you from the front seat, your head buried in Azzi’s chests as your cry, the older girl trying to comfort you and herself. Azzi looks up at Paige who had tears in her eyes “Did they say anything else about KK? Come on talk please” Paige asks begging you.

Shaking your head you move away from Azzi wiping your tears “No I di-didn’t hear it, everything went quiet-I don’t kn-know” you get out before burring your head in your hands. Ice’s hand squeeze around the wheels her knuckles turning white. Paige notices and grabs her shoulder “I’m sure she’s fine guys it’s KK she probably fell making a TikTok or something” the blonde says blaming everyone down.

She was right you all just assumed the worse without thinking straight. Parking the car, you four rush out and into the hospital maneuvering your way through the people to the desk.

“I’m look-looking for Kamora Arnold I was told something happened. Can someone tell me please? Where is she?” You ask the nurse sitting behind the desk. She types on her computer “Yes sit down she’s with the doctors they will be with you in a moment” the nurse tells you all.

You frown “That’s it? What the hell happened to her? Is she okay? Tell me” you demand yelling at the nurse before Azzi grabs you dragging you down to sit while Ice apologized for your behavior. Sitting down your knee bounces up and down hands shaking, every second felt like hours.

All you could think about was her smile, her laugh, the two of you this morning. Nothing could happen to her, you couldn’t loose her, no one could. You told yourself that over and over until a doctor says her name. Your head snaps up “Yes? What happened is she okay?” you ask standing up, in front of the doctor.

He sighs “Sit down please” he says your heart dropping to your stomach. You shake your head “No- no” your voice cracks.

You knew she was gone, before he even said it, as he talked to you and the girls. You didn’t hear a word he said. Your ears ringing, your mind racing every single thing KK has done flashing through your mind. Tears stream down your face and fall into the chair next to him. The girl you loved was gone.

“Which one of you is Y/N?” He asks frowning slightly, your ears still ringing stop, everything going quiet as you look up at him.

Biting your lip “I am” your voice cracks as you speak, wiping your tears that wouldn’t stop flowing down your cheeks. He goes in his pocket pulling out a small black box “She didn’t let go of this the whole time she was here. She said it was yours, we had to pry it from her hands even with the gunshot wound all her strength went to hold onto this. I’m so sorry for your loss” he tells you handing you the box before walking away.

Your mouth quivers as you open it, a sob escaping your lips when you see the ring. The same ring you talked about endlessly, your dream ring, perfect down to the last detail.

Nothing would ever be the same after this day, the girl everyone loved, the girl everyone made laugh was gone.

The girl you loved, who made every day seem like a dream, the girl who became an apart of you was gone. And just like that it was quiet.

It was never quiet with KK, and now it was, it felt as a piece of you died. The ring sits in your hands the last piece you have of her, the ring that lead to her death. The ring that she wouldn’t let go of, the ring that showed all her love for you, the ring that she held even with her last breath.

The world went quiet.

Synopsis: Both you and Nika were well known basketball players but both playing for different teams her for UConn you for Iowa State.

Dating a UConn basketball player while you play for Iowa state was not as hard as anyone expected. Just because the schools are rivals doesn’t mean that the teams hate one another. Both you and Nika met at a basketball game over a year ago, the two of you were up against each other, her guarding you most of the game pissing you off. She thought it was cute how mad you got when she got infront of you, and you thought it was annoying.

UConn ended up loosing that game and even thought Nika was disappointed she couldn’t help herself but to come up to you. After Paige told her what to say she came up to you, tapping you on the shoulder. Turning around you look up at the girl who was a few inches taller than you “Yeah? Nika right?” you ask her confused on what she wanted from you.

The Croatian girl nods “Yeah I’m Nika” she mentally slaps herself after saying that. You nod confused you look back at Kate for a moment your face covered in confusion. You couldn’t lie you thought at Nika was really pretty.

“Did you need something or? I mean your pretty hot so we can just stand here and stare at one another” you say sarcastically Kate trying to cover up her laugh with a cough before getting up and leaving the two of you alone. Nika blushes a bit, her cheeks turning a shade of pink “I just want to ask for your number, I think your really pretty and your very good on the court I was impressed” she admits subtly asking for your number, her heart beats way too fast her hands sweating.

Nodding you grab her phone that was in her hand and look at her expecting to unlock it, and when she does you put your number in and smile at her. She smiles back grabbing her phone “I’ll text you I promise” she says before smiling at you once more and walking back to her team who was waiting for her.

And that’s how your relationship started, it being a little over a year since you started dating the croation girl. The long distance was hard at times but you saw each other a lot through basketball, and the two of you sometimes visited each other taking the 3 hour plane ride to meet one another.

Today UConn and Iowa state had a game against one another, it being the beginning of the season. It was a home game for UConn meaning your team had to come to team. You sit in the locker room with Kate braiding her hair for her “Is it bad I’m nervous?” you ask your team captain tying the tie around the end of the braid. The blonde turns around and grabs the both of your shoulders “No it’s okay you haven’t seen her in person for two months. Now go meet her before the game, captain orders” she pushes you towards the door.

Walking down you find Nika sitting on the bench, the second she sees you she runs up to your wrapping her arms around you. Your arms wrap around her neck and she lifts you up off the ground twirling the both of your in circle. She puts your back on the fourth not letting go of your, her head in your neck “I missed you so much moja bebo” she whispers.

“I missed you more than you know Niks” you whisper pulling away from the hug. Both her hands come to cup your cheeks pulling you into a kiss. Before the kiss can last long Paige comes over “Ew pull away so I can hug my friend twin” she makes a disgusted face before smiling at you “Hey Girlypop” KK says running down the hallway. Nika groans “I can’t have one minute with my girl” she throws her arms up before slapping them down in her thighs. KK mean mugs her giving you a hug “You face time her all day the least you could do is let us say hi after having to listen to yall yap all day and night” KK says pulling away before grabbing Paige “Geno wants us in locker room game starts soon” KK says pulling Paige away before she could even hug you.

You laugh and hug Nika once more “Good luck baby but not too much I still wanna win” you pull her into a short and sweet kiss. Nika licks her lips pulling away from the kiss “Have a good game moja princezo” she whispers before rubbing your waist and walking to her team’s locker room. You watch her walk away and then turn back towards where your team was.

Kate’s eyes meet yours “You okay kid?” she asks you wanting you to be on your A game. You nod “Yeah I just hope this game goes by fast so I can hangout with her before we leave tomorrow night” Kate rubs your shoulder “After we win you guys have time to hangout don’t sweat it” she tries cheering you up.

Both UConn and Iowa State stand with their respective teams before getting on the court. Paige and Caitlin both jump for the ball, Caitlin hits the ball back and you catch it dribbling down the court before passing to Jada. You catch Nika’s eyes and she gets next to you guarding you. Following her movements you move left and Jada passes the ball back to you and you dribble down the court shooting a three. You high five Jada and run back to your side of the court.

The game goes on for a while a close call between UConn and Iowa, every time one team scores so does the other. Nika guarded you for most of the game along with Caroline. Now in the fourth quarter with Iowa State up by 2 points, you breath heavily before running down the court stealing the ball from Kamora, you jump up to shoot a layup and Paige follows trying to block the ball. The two of you hit each other in the air her elbow digging into your side, your leg hitting her ankle. Both you and Paige fall on top of one another the ball now long gone, Paige’s 6 foot frame on top of yours. You wimper “Fuck Paige your heavy get off” you tell her. Both teams come over to the two of you concerned, Nika bends down helping you sit up “što se dogodilo dušo?” she asks you in Croatian. You furrow your brows “I don’t understand” you state holding your ribs.

“What happened? What hurt moje dijete?” she asks you calling you baby at the end. Kate looks down at you “Answer come on what wrong?” she rushes you her concern coming off as rude. Nika glares at her “Does my girl look okay?” she asks sarcastically, you grab her arm “I’m fine just help me up please” you bite your lip as she helps you up wincing slightly. Paige glares at the two of you “Wow twin I’m here too” she exclaims.

“You’re the one who elbowed her this your fault” she points between the two of you, Paige rolls her eyes getting up with the help of KK and Ice. Nika looks from you to Paige “What’s wrong with you?” she ask her teammate conceded for her as Kate helps you walk down to the bench. Paige nods “I’m good I landed on her though she’s like a pillow” she jokes to Nika who groans punching her shoulder and running toward you before she can catch Paige’s reaction.

Your coach comes over asking you questions you tell her about the pain in your stomach and a medic comes over. Nika sits next to you kissing your head “Please tell me you’re okay baby” she begs you looking at you with her big brown eyes. You nod “I’m fine Nika they just said I need ice now go play” you tell her holding an ice pack to your ribs. She makes no move to get up “Go Nika please I’ll be here I’m okay” you reassure her and she nods kissing your head once more and running back to her team looking back at you a few times.

The game goes on for a few more minutes but it was a close call UConn winning 68-66, you frown on the bench knowing if you just didn’t get hurt you would have had a better chance to win. You hug Caitlin who was the first to come over to you “I’m sorry Cait” you apologize to her. She shrugs “It was close but it’s not your fault. How you feeling?” she asks you. Kate comes over hugging you as well “I’m fine sore but fine” you tell them getting up wincing slighting causing both of them to shake their heads at you.

Walking back into the locker room you change into a pair of jean shorts and a black tube top. Most of the team has gone back to the hotel wanting to have some peace and quiet after the loss. Leaving the locker room you run into Nika who smiles at you “How are you baby?” she asks wrapping her arm around your shoulder as yours goes around her waist. She leads the both of you back to her dorm “I’m fine just sore proud of you though Niks it was a good game you really well” you complement her.

She shrugs “So did you, you’re the one who scored most of the points before Paige turned you into a pillow” she jokes laughing, her arm shaking around you. Shoving her you smack your lips “Shut up I’m gonna get Paige back” you demand your lips turning into a smile.

The two of you get to the dorms and see Paige and Azzi on the couch looking for something to watch. You look at Nika and she gives you a nod of approval all ready knowing how bad you wanted to get back at Paige. You grab a pillow and hit Paige with it over and over, Azzi moves out of the way grabbing her phone and filming the two of you. Paige screams covering her head with both her hands “Enough I’m sorry I’m sorry” she squeals as you hit her over and over.

“YOU MADE ME A PILLOW SO NOW I HIT YOU WITH ONE” You yell at her laughing before she uses her strength and pushing you off of her and into the couch. Sticking your tongue out at her, you get up following Nika to her dorm. She sits you down on her bed “I missed you so much” she admits grabbing your cheek and pulling you into a kiss.

Kissing back you pull away biting her lip slightly “Wanna go out somewhere?” you ask her licking your lips. She nods and pushes you down on her bed climbing on top of you “Where you wanna go?” she ask you looking down on you. Thinking for a moment you shrug “Ted’s? The bar you go with your teammates you always tell me about” you remember hearing the stories she tells you on FaceTime.

Nika nods and gets off of you going to look through her closet, she grabs a long black dress for herself before going through it more pulling out a box. She hands it to you sheepishly “I got this for you thought it would look great on you” she tells you. You blush cooing opening up the box seeing a beautiful dark burgundy dress “It’s beautiful Niks thank you” you get up hugging her on your tip toes swaying back and forth.

Both of you get ready together helping each other with their hair and makeup and messing around. You put on the dress and it goes up to your mid thigh and look around in the mirror at yourself. Nika comes up behind you “You look gorgeous princeza” she tells you grabbing your hand pulling you out of her dorm. Paige, Ice, Azzi and Kayla stand in the living room “Finally let’s go” Paige says opening the door for everyone. You look at Nika who was deadpanned at her friend “We never get alone time” she complains.

Getting to the bar you and Nika drift away from the girls and go to the bar. You both order shots taking them together before you grab her hand dragging her to the dance floor. Her hands grab your hips pulling you towards her as you sway your hips to the music. The two of you get lost in your own world embracing each other tuning everyone out. All you could feel was her hands moving up and down your body her breath fanning your neck, the music fades away as you turn around facing her. Nika looks down at you and bites her lip “Your so beautiful” she tells you leaning in and kissing your lips sweetly.

You kiss back her tongue pushing itself into your mouth, her hands traveling down your back grabbing your ass. Pulling away your moan “Not here Niks” you whisper grabbing her hand taking her over to the table where her friends were.

Sitting down Nika pulls you onto her lap wrapping her arms around your waist, her head on your shoulder. Both you enjoy each other company the rest of the night, just being comfortable in each other’s presence. Leaning back onto her chest you turn your head “I love you so much Nika” you whisper to her kissing her cheek lightly.

Nika nods “I know I love you more princeza much more than you know” she reply’s to you pulling you into a kiss.

Synopsis: You and Nika have been hooking up in private without letting any of your friends know. You’ve been away for the past two weeks modeling in Paris and just got back.

Walking down the street your beautiful hair flowing down your back, you spot your friends waiting for you. You smile and run up to them KK running towards you as you meet her in the middle hugging her, her arms warp around you “Hey miss girl we missed you” she says before letting go of the hug and dragging you to the group.

You greet the rest of the girls and Nika hugs you tightly before letting go and holding your shoulders her eyes softening at the sight of you “I missed you” she whispers low enough for only you to hear. You smile slightly “I missed you too” you admit before looking away your attention going elsewhere.

Paige looks you up and down and wraps her arm around your shoulders “You look good girl. How did Paris treat you?” she asks you subtly staring you down. Not that you would notice, you didn’t really notice when people were into you, but Nika did.

“Paris was great the people were so sweet they all had little French accents I loved it plus the designer loved me he wants me back to model for him some more probably in New York” You tell them all looking up at Paige, not noticing the scowl on Nika’s face at the sight of Paige all over you. The blonde smiles down at you before turning her head smirking at Nika, purposefully trying to get the girl jealous.

Walking back to the girls apartment you tell them all about Paris and what you did there, answering all there questions. You walk inside, Paige holding the door open for you “Thanks P” you smile at the girl Nika rolling her eyes behind the both of you.

To say that Nika was mad was an understatement, she didn’t see you for two weeks and you barely have spoken to her, Paige taking up all of your attention. She hated the way Paige would touch you, look at you, she didn’t even want Paige to breathe near you. Nika wasn’t really a jealous person but with you away she realized how much she really liked you, more than just sexually.

Getting up from the couch, while the rest of team argues over what movie they want to watch you go into the kitchen to grab some water.

Paige slaps Nika’s shoulder “If you don’t go after her I am” the blonde says licking her lips doing her rizz hands. She walks towards you causing you to walk back until your back hits the counter, you grab the counter with your hands “Nika what are you doing?” you ask her confused looking back and forth from her face to the girls in the living room.

Her big hand comes to cup your cheek bringing your face up to look at her “I missed you bebo” she admits biting the inside of her cheek. You both can still hear KK and Ice arguing over what movie to watch in the background, Nika turns her head to look at them before grabbing your hand and dragging you to her room without a word.

She shoves you back by your hips and locks the door behind her, you look around her room then back at her “What do you want Nika?” you ask her sitting on her bed while she stands at the door. She shrugs and walks up to you before grabbing you by the face with both her hands and kissing you hard. Nika pushes you back on her bed and crawls on top of you not breaking the kiss, you moan into the kiss as she pulls away from your lips, she bites your bottom lip holding it between her teeth before letting go.

You look up at her a feeling of relief washing over you “Fuck Nika I need you so bad I missed you so much” you whine rubbing your legs together trying to release the tension building up in your stomach.

“Yeah baby how much did you miss me want you to prove it to me” she demands grabbing you by the hips and flipping you both over so your straddling her waist.

Both of you lay on her bed for a moment in quiet no words needed to be said between you both. Nika breaks the silence “I really like you and I want more than just sex” she admits looking away from you and to the door of her bedroom.

Smiling you grab her face to make her look at you “I like you too Nika” you say before climbing on top of her and kissing her once more.

You jump down from her and grab her shirt sliding it over your body “I’m going to take you out tomorrow after practice” you state going into the bathroom grabbing a towel wetting it and walking back over to the girl. You wipe down her stomach before pushing down and kissing her, she kisses back her tongue sliding in your mouth as you both fight for dominance. You pull away smiling and grab a shirt for her to wear from her closet.

She grabs the shirt from your hands and raises her brows at you “Yeah okay what time baby?” Nika asks you putting the shirt on while watching you put your clothes back on.

Thinking for a moment you shrug “Around seven ish be hungry” you say grabbing her hand helping her off of the bed. She grabs your hand nodding and she unlocks the door and you both walk back into the living room to see all the girls sitting in silence.

You furrow your brows “What’s wrong? Who died?” you ask jokingly. KK shakes her head “My innocence died today” she says digging her head into Paige’s shoulder. Nika busts out laughing “Oh shit yall heard us?” she asks while you groan feeling embarrassed.

“Yes we heard guess we don’t need to find a movie to watch you both already have us entertainment” Paige says rubbing KK’s back. You shake your head no and walk out of the living room “IM DONE” you yell walking back into Nika’s room while everyone laughs at you both.

“Baby you ready” Paige asks you tying her shoelaces next to you on the bench. Today was the first game of the season, and you and Paige were both starting.

You nod your head at the girl “Yeah I’m good” you take a deep breath calming your nerves before standing up and pulling Paige in for a kiss. It only lasts for a second a short and sweet kiss, Paige leans her forehead on yours and you feel her breath fan your face. Both of you always played better with each other on the court, especially when you started dating. She kisses your nose “Come on we got this” she says convincing you and herself before grabbing your hand and running onto the court with you.

Geno rolls his eyes, holding his clipboard “It took long enough” he says before pulling the rest of the team together. He starts explaining the plays for the game and the officials blow the whistle starting the game. You run on the court and stand next to Nika while Caroline gets ready to jump for the ball. She jumps and flings the ball to your side of the court and you run for it getting the ball and dribbling it down the court. You pause as your opponent gets all up on you and you turn and pass the ball to Nika who runs it back and shoots a three.

The game goes on for a while, now in the third quarter you scored around 15 points and 8 assists. This one girl number 13 on the other team will not leave you alone, always making small comments in your ear and pushing you. Deciding to ignore the girl throughout the game, was a lot harder than you expected.

Nika looks around before passing you the ball, before you can catch it number 13 grabs your shoulders and pushed you down on the ground hard. You flinch grabbing your ankle feeling it sting in pain. The refs blow the whistle and Paige runs up to you, she bends down and looks at you up and down before her eyes land on your ankle. Reluctantly she grabs your hands moving it from your ankle so she can hold your hands “What hurts? What happened? Are you okay?” she asks you quickly while you shake your head no tears streaming down your face. The rest of the girls come around you and circle you so the cameras can’t see what’s going on. Geno runs over and calls one of the medics to come help you.

“Paige I heard it crack” you say starting to breathe fast, Geno shakes his and bends down “Hey relax kid please” he says looking at you then at the medic who shakes her head “It’s feels fractured we need to get it x rayed to be certain” she tells your coach. You falls back leaning on Paige while she holds you, she hooks her arms under your knees and stands up holding your bridle style. The medic leads the way down to the locker room so she can get ice. Paige sits you down on a chair and grabs another to lift your foot up. You wipe your tears and look up at Paige who bends down next to you, she grabs your cheeks and makes you look at her “Hey it’s gonna be okay baby I know your in pain I know but don’t worry” she coos trying to calm you down.

She watched the whole thing happen to you, and wanted nothing more than to punch the girl but when she saw you in pain, you came first. You shake your head no “But what if I can’t play this season, it’s first game Paige and it hurts” you say with your voice cracking at the end. Paige’s heart breaks at the sound of your voice and you in pain she opens her mouth to speak before Geno walks in with the medic.

“Paige get back in the court now don’t try and argue go now” Geno says pointing to the door. She nods and kisses your forehead before walking away and looking back at you for a moment, a thousand thoughts running through her head. The only thing she can comprehend is that she wanted to protect you.

Geno walks over and grabs your shoulder “Hey it’s gonna be okay kid let the medic check you out and we’ll go from there” he says before nodding at the medic and walking back out onto the court. The medic comes over and starts to check out your foot.

The second Paige is back on the court she hears number 13 laughing with her team about what happened. Nika wraps her arm around Paige’s shoulder “We not letting her get away with that right?” the international girl asks her friend. Paige nods “No we smoking that bitch” she says rapping Nika up and running into the court. The rest of the game Paige and Nika double team the girl not letting even touch the ball. Around the end of the game, only a few minutes left on the clock number 13 throws her hands in the air “Yo yall are on my nerves fuck off” she yells.

Paige turns around “Say that again I dare you” the taller girl says staring down her. The shorter girl scoffs “Run back to your crying lil girlfriend bro” she says turning around to walk away before Paige shoves her causing her to trip over her two feet.

“WHAT ABOUT MY GIRL BITCH” Paige yells pushing the girl on the ground before Nika and KK grab her arms pulling her back. The refs blow there whistles and Geno comes over yelling “Go Paige get off the court and go to the locker room your done” he says before going to talk to the officials.

You lift your head looking up at the Paige who swings the door open, anger still lacing her veins. You furrow your brows “Paige honey what’s wrong?” you ask the girl moving to sit up. She lets out a deep breath “That stupid bitch who hurt you was talking shit and I shoved I mean who the fuck she think she is” Paige says walking back and forth infront of you cracking her knuckles.

“What Paige? Come here please” You say and she nods obediently and walks over standing infront of you. You grab her waist looking up at her “Why did you shove her Paige?” you ask her reluctantly letting go of her waist to cross your arms across your chest.

She sighs and looks down at you “Because I guess I wanted to protect you in a way I don’t know my anger got the best of me” she says brushing a piece of your hair from your face. You open your mouth to speak before Paige interrupts you “Are you okay? What happened with your foot?” she asks looking at your iced ankle.

You follow her eyes and look at your ankle and sigh “They think it might be broken but I have to go get it x rayed when the game is over it hurts a lot” you admit to her. Paige nods and moves over your body straddling your waist on the chair, sitting on your lap as she hugs you.

“I’m so sorry baby” she mumbles into your neck, you rub her back “It’s not your fault Paige” you whisper back to her.

Paige leans her head up and looks at you, both her hands coming to cup your face “I love you and I’m going to protect you no matter what” she says promising it to you before kissing you passionately. You kiss back and move your hands to squeeze her waist as she slides her tongue in your mouth.

The door opens up behind you both and you flinch away from Paige, Nika groans “Why is it always me to walk in on this” she complains throwing her hands up in the air. Paige looks at her and stays seated in your lap “Nika it’s okay to jealous I know you wanna watch” Paige says looking up at her sucking her teeth.

Nika scoffs “Yeah you wish Bueckers” she says looking down at your ankle after. She comes over and lifts the ice seeing your ankle purple she pouts “You okay?” Nika asks you concerned. Shrugging your shoulders you nod “Yeah I can’t cry anymore so I guess we wait and see” you admit looking up at Nika your hands moving to Paige’s waists.

“Nika twin I love you but if you don’t stop looking at my girl like you wanna fuck her Ima have to fuck you up” Paige says getting up and off of you. Nika smirks and bites her lip “As you said it’s okay to be jealous Paige” she says sucking her lips mimicking her actions from before.

You groan “Both of you fuck off” you laugh and lean up from your chair to shove them both.
