Catch the latest, cherish the timeless
I just watched the funniest movie of my life. It's called The Fly (1986) on ×2 speed.
Edit:
Dude, I would be so pissed if someone threw up on my leg and it disentrigrated. What do you mean your vomit is acid and I've just lost my hand and leg. Fuck you dude.
I know it's super late but when I was in my horror genre class this evening we were talking about subgenres and about actors that appear in certain types of horror movies as certain types of characters. My group got to Justin Long and his many deaths/misadventures. This was all I could think of and I needed to make it.
K goodnight.

“Late Night with the Devil” feels like it’s either the love child of Exorcist and Paranormal Activity or the movie adaptation of a creepypasta (like Candle Cove).
if a horror/slasher movie ends with the killer in the back seat {of the victim's escape car} when a victim "finally" escapes, it automatically pisses me off - Why is it acceptable as a writer to end a 'horror' movie with the lamest, easiest-to-write ending?? Cmon now, it's so boring and unrealistic.
"Oh, but Tae, slasher films are unrealistic in their nature!1!" no shit, dawg - but you cannot convince me that the "killer suddenly appears in the backseat and kills the protagonist to allow for another potential movie" isn't the worst ending you've ever seen.
How did they get in there? How did the victim not see their {usually} fat ass in the back seat? {I'm looking at you, Thomas Hewitt and Jacob Goodnight}. What the actual fuck. HOW DID THE KILLER NOT GET HURT AT ALL IN THE CAR CRASH? {if it crashes}
PLEASE stop using this as an acceptable ending. Put more thought and effort into your scripts, PLEASE
thank you for coming to my ted talk
How are you gonna complain that Nosferatu was too sexual as if Gothic literature didn't originate from social rebellion? As if Bram Stoker's novel didn't have sexual undertones? As if Nosferatu didn't have sexual undertones already? I understand if you didn't expect such upfront sexuality, but don't hate on the movie for it. If it's not for you, that's okay! Taboo topics aren't for everyone; Just remember that Gothic literature is meant to be taboo. A social rebellion. Expressing the dark, barbaric, animalistic, and shunned aspects of human nature. I haven't watched the film YET; But I have taken a course SPECIFICALLY on Gothic literature {and passed}, read Bram Stoker's Dracula, watched both original Nosferatu's multiple times, and immersed myself in Gothic literature for a while now. Gothic horror IS sexual in its essence. It's grotesque and disgusting. Revolting and shameful. That's the point. It's also sensual, emotional, despondent, and FULL of metaphors. It’s EROTIC. If the genre isn't for you, or if certain aspects aren't for you, that's okay. Everyone has their limits, everyone deserves their boundaries.

i just watched The Exorcist for the first time,,, 8.5/10. Very good but i almost fell asleep at the end + it made be a bit squeamish a few times. That's the goal with horror tho, so i fw it.
A Movie Poster to a flick Never made. Who‘d watch?
Well, look what she can do… if she wanted us dead. When we cut into her. She tried to stop us each time. It’s like there’s something she doesn’t want us to find.
The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016)
Tightly held possession. (Supernatural, 1933)
Waxing ambitious. (Mystery of the Wax Museum, 1933)
I just watched Alien : Romulus in theatres, and I think Fede Alvarez now owes me therapy.
I just loved the whole art of The Nun, the story and movie as well. I think it's due to Corin Hardy's great passion for monsters and horror films that the movie turned out to be amazing-- so I made dis.
nothing better than watching a classic slasher movie on an autumn night

As an Irish person I loved the inclusion of the Irish experience in Sinners and how it is comparable to that of black people and the Native Americans. The Irish were colonised and forcefully converted to Christianity, we were stripped of our language, culture, land and religion similarily to the people of the African and Native American tribes. Hell, when Irish immigrants first came to America they weren't even considered white (which really goes to show how arbitrary the term 'white' really is). The Rocky Road of Dublin scene is just so great. To have a mainstream film feature a character sing a traditional Irish jig and do some Irish dancing is so cool, plus the song straight up slaps. I love this movie so much, it better get all the awards.
That being said, just because Remmick suffered at the hands of the British does not justify all the terrible stuff he does. He is still very much the villain of the film.

Edit: I feel so sick from what happens near to the end like bloody hell it is so disgusting like no girl should have to go through that yep when it reaches 1:09:14-1:09:15 is 🤢
Edit 2: either she has got Stockholm syndrome for Josh or she is bluffing him
Edit 3: Amy begging Josh and shouting for help is the most sad bit and hearing her scream is just so upsetting
Is it bad I try gatekeeping my genre of movies to myself because I hate when my best friend seems more into it than I am. Because when I show her a horror movie and she constantly tells me about it like I haven't watched it it really pisses me off, so also tends to watch new ones I haven't seen and brags about it, and spoil the movie. And we watch movies up her ally all the time and when it comes to my turn she's like "I don't feel like it." Like bitch what do you mean?! The few times I stop gatekeeping you say no and watch it by yourself
