Summary: “In the 23rd century, another strange creature meets and befriends Frankenstein's monster.”
Additional Context: I wrote this as a Halloween-themed sequel/revival of an original Wattpad story I wrote many years ago. If anyone is interested in reading it in PDF form or would like further context/information, feel free to shoot me an ask or message!
Guillermo del Toro directing Frankenstein is a gift to humanity on its own, but the possibility of Andrew Garfield finally bringing the queer yearning and fruitiness that has been missing from every adaptation of Frankenstein is the cherry on top of the cake
EDIT:
Little sketch of Creature from the novel Frankenstein :)
I actually drew this during a power cut, I realized that because I have a laptop I could still use electricity and defy the will of the gods!! >:3
So of course I drew The Creature from Frankenstein ♥

We're reading Frankenstein in my college lit class and the topic of the creature's appearance came up. We were arguing about whether or not he was truly hideous. Some of us thought he looked relatively normal, but with scary eyes and some scarring while others thought he looked more like your stereotypical zombie.
My professor had this to say about the monster's appearance:
"Imagine the most handsome man you can think of. Someone who is well known for being conventionally attractive. That man is now dead, and his head is carefully sewn onto another dead man's torso. All his new body parts are proportionate, but his skin- which has been decaying for who knows how long- has lost all its luster and turned to a yellowish tint. His watery eyes are an unnatural shade of yellow. And he's towering over you at 8ft tall. Is he still handsome?"
"actually it's frankenstein's monster" is he not victor frankenstein's son????? does not he deserve even to receive the surname of the man who gave him life???????????????????? you contrarian bitch.
a peace offering to the Frankenstein fandom 👍💥💥💖
LET ME INNN
I get that Victor was irresponsible for leaving the monster on his own but if a barely alive eight foot tall glowing eyed man was looming over me yeah I’d just kinda run too
