When I draw him as a teen I always give him his nanny chin

A complexion study! I thought it’d be interesting to contemplate what the Aquatos would look like with a few varieties of realistic Romani skin colors and how the two might mingle to retain that goofy red/yellow/green and yellow/blue/brown color harmony from the games.

I’m absolutely not the first person to do this, but I can’t find the post that inspired me. It was Frazie and Mirtala with brown skin in pretty blue leotards, I think. If anyone can find it, plz link me.

(I also felt the need to sit and tweak Raz’s face a bit so he looks less like a Danny Phantom clone than in previous drawings.)

I hurt my hands from drawing too much in April, but I'm okay. During that time I was trying to take a break from drawing, but I was beginning to lose it, so I drew Maloof in MS Paint.

I continued resting afterwards and I was able to draw normally again.

I wanted to try drawing Quentin with different expressions again. It wasn't so bad this time, but ...

This is really my third attempt at squirrel Augustus.

Elka is like a cartoon character to me. Her manner of speech is very expressive.

Cutting the bush does not hurt it.

Request from my sister (she is a fan of Gorillaz, could you tell?) Seems that Noodle Fed-Ex'ed herself to the wrong address and The Levitators/Firestarters/Whispering Rockers have a guitarist now.

It's my birthday today, so let's get this party started!!

I don't think it's a crime to draw them playing and having fun. They're still kids.

I considered the aftermath.

Milla cares for the campers, we know that. However, I think the fifth time today that Maloof comes crying to her would test her patience. He wants to be coddled and she ain't his mama.

I know it would be more logical for him to lift her with TK, or for her to just levitate, but that's BORING.

I drew Raz cosplaying as my OC, Rez. It's short for "Reznor" not "Rezputin." I think it's cute how Raz is trying to look mean.

I evened it out and drew Rez cosplaying Raz.

Truthfully, they might not get along if they met. Raz is nice to almost everyone, but Rez can be very aggressive (and is also from hell.)

I needed a new one. The old drawing was ... well, old. Too much effort for a shitpost.

I hope everyone had a good Halloween. Here's Lili and Raz loving and cherishing Harold. More stuff under the cut.

Sometimes you just have to draw nice things to make yourself feel better. Now here's some mood whiplash.

I noticed that Bobby and Raz sort of have the same silhouette with their body. I drew this to try and demonstrate what I mean. I think it's beautiful, personally.

I know I'm not the first to draw anthro versions of Kitty and Quentin, but here's my take on em.

I wasn't expecting the line when Raz shows her the button to hit me so hard. She's hanging out with some weeds (primarily ones that people only want to get rid of.)

I don't wanna end on a sad note, so I'll let you have the early sketch of the Frazie BLECH drawing (I thought Raz looked funny so I held onto it.)

My sister asked me to draw the Aquatos for her school binder. I don't draw on paper very often these days (or even COLOR on paper. I'm sure you could tell very quickly.)

It's not perfect, but my sister was satisfied with the results so I think it's alright. As you can see, it's based on the poster thingy in the 2nd game's intro animation.

April 2023 Doodle Highlights

Finished product. Say it with me now: RAZPUTIN. NEEDS. THERAPY.

WIP. Raz getting bullied and having his family make horrible remarks at him all the while dissapointing Milla and Sasha for the casino incident really hit hard for me, due to me being in a similar situation to my youth. The depiction of bullying in Psychonauts 2 is both accurate and terrible at the same time, with the bullying itself being realistic, but the bullies themselves never receiving repercussions for their actions. When Razputin is peered pressured into changing Hollis’ mind, he is rightfully repremanded, but the interns get away with it and learn nothing. His family is understandably upset he ran away, but they’ve also branded him a traitor. And he realized that his hero, Ford Cruller, singlehandedly rewrote his family history (for somewhat understandable reasons), but still. If Double Fine ever revisits Psychonauts, I really hope they show how Raz is 9999% NOT okay.
