To go back to this with some
Doomed!AU, but more based off of the 1951 movie When Worlds Collide. Itself based off the 1933 book by Edwin Balmer and Philip Wylie, the Earth is faced with certain destruction by a rogue star named Bellus alongside a planet name Zyra in it orbit. There is a mad rush to build a rocket like Ark by a group of scientists and others to fly to Zyra to give Mankind a chance at survival.
So picture say Carmelita is tasked with the urgent delivery of information and photographs from one group of scientists and astronomers to another to confirmed their fears of Bellus arrival, first with Zyra passing by causing massive earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis, and not long afterward Bellus wiping Earth itself. Carmelita of course goes into an state of shock and terror and breaks down in Sly arms when he shows up not long later.
In the mad rush to build the ship along with other nations and groups before it too late, maybe the Cooper Gang is tasked with stealing objects of value that are critical to the Ark being finished in time. (With the promise of Carmelita being let on the ship when it leaves.)
Following Zyra pass-by and later the Last Day on Earth, everyone rushes to leave as hordes of desperate survivors and those not chosen attempt to take the ship and escape at the last moments. Later landing safety on the New World.
I will also say the set up can work with The Bad Guys as well. (Diane Foxington becomes governor of nothing and the Bad/Good Guys become some of the last survivors.)
There is a sequel book 1934 After Worlds Collide that deals with living on Zyra, finding alien cities and meeting and facing with other survivors from other Arks.

Ultimate/Absolute Sly Cooper
Picture if you will, a Ultimate and/or a Absolute version of everyone's favorite thief Sly Cooper and his world.
To those who are not familiar, the Marvel new Ultimate Universe is where the Villain the Marker came to a earth and with time travel change everything to match his image, stopping the birth of many different heroes by various means. Eventfully you have new heroes showing up to take back the world from the Marker and his allies upholding the Status Quo.
The latter is similar, but focus on Darkseid corrupted a universe where heroes have to burn twitch as bright to stand up on a earth overcome by darkness and villainy. With heroes missing a key element of their background, but their core remains.
So picture if you will, a Ultimate Sly Cooper who never became a thief, or lost his parents. He married Carmelita and had a family. But always feeling like he was missing something. Only for one day to learn the truth of the world, and becomes a Master Thief to fight the status quo.
The second, a Absolute Sly, who made never had his Cooper gang, never had Bentley, and Murray in his life. Maybe he never had the Thievius Raccoonus, or any of that. He been a long wolf all this time in a world dominated by those like the Fiendish Five, the Klaww Gang, and Le Paradox among others. But Sly will always be Sly and he a Master Thief who fights the people and those who can't fight back.
What fun is there in stealing if you aren't being pursued?

Honestly, I really pushed myself and my limits with this drawing, cause I never draw backgrounds. This time I HAD to make the exception, cause this is another tribute piece to "The Lines We Cross" by @whisker-biscuit
Ive planned to make one more piece of that nature, since Chapter 12 had one more scene I really liked, but we'll see.
I really overworked myself with this one and I think it was worth it. Hope you like it as much as I do!

heres an idea, imagine Carmelita getting a symboite from Venom.
I think it would cool if the symboite ran on electricity, like the symbiote mixed with Carm's shock pistol?
I don't have a name for it, but it helps Carmelita catch criminals. It also teases her about Sly and skyrockets poor Carm's electric bill...
Lastly, it is twice her size and it likes to wonder out at night when Carm is beyond exhausted for her to control it. And of course it runs into Sly and spooks him for funnizes. I had a lot of fun drawing these -I didn't mean to draw a lot for it lol.
