Another Kurt wip from the sketch dump bc I have been feeling sick and it's taking energy away from doing art, especially digitally. I'll get back to it eventually though!

OC STUFF YEAHH!! These are my X-men ocs/fan characters! :))

Left to right is Rook (they/he), Reign (she/her), and Windlocke (she/her).

I meant for these only to be warm up doodles, but I ended up doing a bit more, since I just love them so much. I love doing these type of sketches where I just write down random notes to accompany my art. It obviously shows if you see my other art tho lol, but it can be a bit unnecessary sometimes lol.

Some Kurt wips because I am once again doing a Kurt central sketch dump sooner or later. I typically just digitalize my sketches from my sketchbook, so that's why a bunch of them are all on one canvas aksjkja. What can I say? I love this fuzzy blue man and I'll say it over and over again.

Don't look at me ok ok? This is a so-so warm up that I drew in hopes of working on my other art projects after, but I ended up calling it after this and not drawing KAJSKAJK. Just felt like sharing this, despite it looking so stiff :') I love this fuzzy elf though.

Rook has had a hard life. His fight or flight response activates when shown genuine kindness sometimes, and they always chose fight, which I figured would play out funnily with Kurt, since he is such a genuine and sweet guy lmao.

They momentarily worked with the X-men for a random mission and now ends up running into members of the team occasionally. This is also how he met Reign, who casually assists the X-men with missions! :)) She isn't really part of the X-men exactly, she just does her own thing, but she's a wicked spy and they find that useful.

The character in middle, between Rook and Reign in the second slide, belongs to my bestie @awritersrenaissance! Her name is Gabrielle Morris, also known as The Moth hehe. Fun fact, Gabs and Rook are cousins and their stories are pretty intertwined! (The character mentioned as Hammerhead is their oc as well.)

Sorry for all my notes, I know they're not ideal, but that is just how I get info out sometimes lol. I will probably be drawing these sillies more later. If anyone is interested in Rook and Reign for any reason, please don't hesitate to ask questions! I love yapping about my ocs.

I'll probably make some silly doodles of them interacting with canon characters soon enough. I have a funny idea for Rook and Kurt's interactions asjakjsk.

These doodles vary in dates, which you can tell by the fact that Rook's ref has only my signature and no watermark, but the others have the watermark and no signature lmaoo.

Can we talk more about how bamfs are like... demons or what. I feel like they should be a little off putting? Thinking of gremlins or furbies(???) or something. I tried to balance the cuteness and the imp-ness?? I actually don't like these but I need to get this out of my folders and consider it finished, because I already have six other art projects that I'm casually working on... and several being planned. 😭 The brain rot has me going insane, ok ok?? Also I gave this lil' a bow/ribbons... because I say so.

A... idk??? Chibi Kurt??? I don't want to call this a chibi style, but idk... maybe it is just stylized. Anyway, I drew these a day or so after the last Kurt drawing. I wanted to see if I could capture the way I had drawn/painted his fur again, but did not feel like doing a complete piece lol. So here is a funky Kurt.

Girls by The Dare came on while i was doing "research" into reading his comics and i had a silly little thought of "i think kurt would sing along to this like his life depended on it" so lo and behold drunk kurt doing karaoke

also kinda inspired by one comment on a tiktok abt him that said "bro he be fuckin in the comics he does NOT care"

More Gambit and Rogue art coming soon btw. They own my heart. Working on a little animatic for them, plus another comic redraw (I have the first one lined up in my queue😭). Plus the dumb sketch comic that I shared some wips of, but that is only about Gambit, Bishop, and Morph specifically from X-men '97 hehe. Still!! Plans, plans, plans. Hopefully I can finish them.

Please let me know if the values are as dark as they seem as on my laptop. I thought they were okay on my Ipad but idk now.

Messed around with color here. I hope it's as decent as I think it is lol. I just chose the values and then used procreate's gradient feature. Also I listened to Meet you at the Graveyard by Cleffy on repeat when I made this, hence the lyrics.

Trying out a new watermark instead of just a signature, which was an idea suggested by a buddy on Insta. (EDIT: Queued out of order and posted new art with the watermark already rip.)

An X-men sketch dump (ft. older doodles of myself idk idk). :)) Of course Kurt makes the most appearances. My fav doodle is probably sleepy Kurt in the second sketch page. This was when I was drawing him as a silly guy because later I try something else and idk if it works out lol.

Gave Jubilee some dimple piercings!! and ofc Kurt has one ear pierced. Also more shirtless Gambit doodles coming soon. Thank you X-men 97 for Morph and Logan, and the comics for Kurt and Logan also. I wish I would've added Ororo to the banter buddies, purely because I know she'd be lovingly roasting them alive. We love her. <3

I'm truthfully not happy with many of these doodles, but I'm posting them anyway, because I need to share my love for the X-men right now!! I feel like I'm going insane aisjisjis.
