i raise you the idea of charles—post first class, once the students leave and the teachers are conscripted, becoming so lonely and desperate for something to keep him going before hank develops the serum—staying up late at night with cerebro to look for erik's mind when he sleeps.

because i'm under the assumption that erik wouldn't wear this thing to bed, nor would he essentially wear it all the time. but charles seeks him out after a few months of radio silence and slips into his dreams to find someone to keep him company. the general nature of dreams is that even the good ones, unless you write them down immediately, dissolve from your memory when you wake up.

so maybe erik's under the impression that he misses charles so much that he's dreaming. and charles is chasing a fix he can't have by staying up later and later and holding onto old, better times in erik's subconscious.

but charles stops taking up a corner of erik's mind once he gets arrested. so even that speck of warmth is robbed from erik in clinical, sanitized solitary—meanwhile charles has finally gotten a hold of hank's serum and he's realized he can't keep pining after someone who can't even bring himself to stay by his side. who stole his family and chooses violence over it like it's nothing.

so he trades his powers to sleep.

Guys I had a dream last night where adult Nasiens and Percival leave Brittania after the war against Arthur to settle in a little territory/land like God's Finger .

They get married and have a little girl with dark green hair, the prettiest golden/brown eyes you've ever seen and a smile so bright she could light up the entire room .

She's the absolute love of their life . Percival is ( obviously) a girl dad and let's her messily braid his long hair or paint his face atrociously with makeup . Despite the sparkly mess on his face he'll always gasp in delight when she proudly holds up her rhinestone orned mirror to his face and hug her tightly saying " Thanks kiddo I look beautiful 😊😊 "

He's very obviously lying but the toothy grin abd the hug that he gets from his little girl is worth it .

She's basically a mini Percy but with darker hair and brown eyes .

And Nasiens gosh Nasiens loves their little girl ( I'm using they cause I don't know if in the future he's going to remain a he or a she, so I'm keeping the pronouns neutral for know ) who runs on her wee little legs to hug his knees tightly and say the most adorable things ever like " You're so prettyy Mama/Papa" or " I love you so so much more than the whooooole world " .

And Nasiens eats it allll up, plucking the little girl from the floor to tuck her into their arms and to kiss her fluffy hair adoringly .

She's a very energetic little bean, running and bouncing around at every second . A very curious and sharp kid tooo always asking questions. Like... always 💀.

She's also very good at hand to hand combat, her and Percy roughouse all the time much to Nasiens dismay .

But that’s only if you find that person.” 

“Yeah, if you find that person.” Charles says, almost to himself. Then he puts a smile back on, “No one has ever made me a chuppah before.” 

Erik smiles, looking nearly bashful. “Well, you only get married once. Theoretically,” He adds. 

“Yeah, you only get married once.” Charles repeats. He’ll be getting married. Once. To Moira. This weekend. 

The morning air is cool, a slight breeze whooshing around and between the two friends sitting on the old, well-worn porch. The snow has melted today, but the weather’s still frigid and icey. Charles huffs a sigh and a burst of fog erupts from his mouth. Beside him, Erik breathes steadily, only the smallest puffs visible. He’s holding himself still like a statue.

So funny story, i follow this page @is-arthur-back-yet , i didn't even watch the bbc merlin show, i just like arthurian legends. I have this screenshot in my gallery from when i wanted to show this page to a non tumblr friend of mine. So anyway, i was gonna work on one of my animations today, but the next step was doing lineart, and i really didn't feel like it, so i went to my gallery to find something to doodle.
